Soy lo que hago, del proyecto Cicatrices

Over a decades-long career, Lizarazo's poetic and political art has developed a visual language of its own that confronts the systemic subjugation of the female voice and body, creating a space that recognizes and celebrates autonomy, sexuality and female liberation.

- Eugenio Viola

"Yo soy lo que hago de Luz Lizarazo", is an edition produced on the occasion of the exhibition Cicatrices / Scars at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá, MAMBO (August 28, 2021 - February 6, 2022).

"It consists of 300 copies numbered in Arabic and signed. This publication was born in a hot afternoon of work under the eternit tiles of the workshop between pandemic and national strikes with Eugenio Viola, Chief Curator of MAMBO and the greatest accomplice of this project; and became a reality on September 30, 2021 with the warm accompaniment and care of Daniel Rueda."
