MoMA's online course "What is Contemporary Art?"
Beatriz González’s works: Zócalo de la comedia (1983) and Zócalo de la tragedia (1983) are featured in MoMA's new free online course “What is Contemporary Art?”. Since the 80’s González has resorted to the reiteration of images extracted from the press, not only as a reference to popular culture but as a visual strategy to combat forgetfulness.
