Linda Pongutá in the sixth triennal of The New Museum: "THE OUTSIDE EXPANDS"
Casas Riegner celebrates the participation of our artist Linda Pongutá in the Sixth New Museum Triennial, titled “The Outside Expands”.
The Triennial brings together thirty-six artists and collectives from thirty-four countries. The exhibition focuses on proposals that unsettle fixed notions of territory, identity, gender, and sexuality, and that foster alternative ways of building relationships, kinships, and collaborations. “The Outside Expands” is curated by Vivian Crockett of the New Museum and Isabella Rjeille of MASP – Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand, with assistance from curatorial assistant Thalia Stefaniuk and curatorial fellow Taeyi Kim. They are the first international curatorial team in the Triennial’s history.
We congratulate the artist on this important achievement.
